Remarks 'Tafi' is a global name given to the rabbitfish group. The forktail rabbitfish, and most of its group, are caught with accepted traditional fishing gears such as basket traps, gill nets and handlines. In the late 1990s, it makes up most of the artisanal fisher's catch. A few decades ago, when fish catch was more abundant, this group was less desired as a food fish.
