Remarks Also called 'Listao' in FAO Fishing Area 31. 'bonite' from Low Latin, word from the South East probably borrowed from Spanish 'bonito' (p. 97 in Ref. 9404); 'à ventre rayé', i.e., 'with striped belly'.
