Remarks The spiny dogfish was used for oil from their livers which was sold to white traders; it was also the crest of the Yaaku laana (Middle town people) and Kyanuusilee (tomcod people), two Haida Raven lineages (see also Ref. 38231). Applied to Squalus acanthias.
