Biology:	Occurs in lentic waters. Feeds on plants. Is threatened by water pollution and habitat destruction (Ref. 26100). Eggs are deposited into narrow fissures on stones, wood and live plants. Migratory in Livanjsko Polje. Larve and juveniles benthic and solitary (Ref. 59034)
