ຂໍ້ສັງເກດ Evidently not gregarious and does not undergo long-distance migrations. Immature found inshore, in 15-20 m, over rocks. Feeds mostly on fishes (gadoids, herring, flatfishes), also crustaceans, starfish (Ref. 3663).
