Remarks Collected from a preandean stream of clear water, with shallow, sandy bottom, and with vegetation along margins, at an elevation of about 3,680 m above sea level. Specimens were hiding in the sand. Stomach contents include mainly chironimid larvae (Diptera) and amphipod remains and sand (Ref. 45128),
