Family:  Acheilognathidae (Bitterlings)
Max. size:  5.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong basin and northern Viet Nam.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-12; Anal soft rays: 10-11. Comparatively blunt snout; small maxillary barbels (Ref. 43281).
Biology:  Occurs in creeks.
