Diagnosis:  Distinguishing caharacters: D iii,9; A iii,8; lateral line scales 37, above it 6 and below 4; total vertebrae 36; barbels much shorter than eye diameter, with ratio of barbel length to orbit diameter 0.24 (left) and 0.29 (right) (Ref. 87269).
