Distribution:  Asia: known only from the Mahakam River drainage in Borneo, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 5-5; Anal soft rays: 8-8; Vertebrae: 41-41. Slender body, depth at anus 9.4% SL; depth of caudal peduncle 4.2% SL. Rounded anterior margin of the anal fin (Ref. 37794).
