Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Turkey.
Diagnosis:  Described by the following characteristics: lateral line scales 60-66 (vs. 49-59 in A. kotschyi); scale rows between the lateral line and the dorsal-fin origin 11-14 (vs. 9-11 in A. kotschyi); scale rows between the lateral line and the anal-fin origin 5-6 (vs. 4-6 in A. kotschyi); branched anal-fin rays 10-12 (vs. 9½-11½ in A. kotschyi) (Ref. 129015).
