Max. size:  28.4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong basin in northern Laos, Xishuangbanna and Myanmar.
Diagnosis:  Lateral line scales 33-36 + 2-3. Branched dorsal rays 10.5. Snout rounded when seen from above. Fins of juveniles tainted with orange (especially anal).
