Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: near Lae, Papua New Guinea. Known only from 2 specimens.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 23-24; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Dark or dull brown above, slightly paler below (Ref. 9772).
Biology:  Inhabits shallow coastal waters (Ref. 9772).
