Environment:  benthopelagic; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Gulf of California to Panama.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Uncommon species inhabiting shallow coastal waters (Ref. 9118). Enters estuaries and river mouths (Ref. 9118). Feeds mainly on crustaceans (Ref. 9118).
