Max. size:  12.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathypelagic; marine; depth range - 650 m
Distribution:  South Atlantic: Namibia to South Africa in the eastern side, and off Brazil in the western side. Also, Indian and Pacific Oceans.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Mesopelagic species (Ref. 4468).
