Max. size:  26.6 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic-oceanic; marine; depth range - 615 m
Distribution:  South Atlantic: off southwest Africa.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 44-45. Branchiostegal rays 2. Supraorbitals do not extend to above the middle of the orbit. Anastomoses present between adjacent canals of the cutaneous vascular system on the sides below the lateral line (Ref. 41239).
