Environment:  demersal; freshwater; depth range 70 - 130 m
Distribution:  Asia: Lake Baikal and Irkutsk Reservroir downstream to the Burduguz River in Russia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 15-18; Anal soft rays: 10-13
Biology:  Found mostly over stony bottom (Ref. 26334).
