Distribution:  Asia: known only from the Sebuku basin, Kalimantan Timur, Borneo, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-8; Anal spines: 10-10; Anal soft rays: 12-13
Biology:  Occurs in forest streams with moderate current, in shallow water (5-10 cm deep) in plant roots and leaf litter along the shores.
