Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: endemic to Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  No available data on habitat or depth of capture. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The males carry the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). Males may be brooding at 6-6.5 cm SL.
