Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: upper Rio Grande drainage in southern Colorado and New Mexico, USA south through Pacific Slope drainages to Durango and Zacatecas in Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky pools, runs and riffles of small to medium rivers.
