Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 10 - 27 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Tanzania, Ibo (Mozambique), Comoros, and Sodwana Bay, Natal (South Africa).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2-2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 22-23; Anal spines: 2-3; Anal soft rays: 13-14. Dusky olive green in color (Ref. 11228).
Biology:
