Max. size:  40 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Europe: Lake Bourget (France) and Lake Genèva ( France, Switzerland). Introduced in Lake Aiguebelette (France). Original population extirpated in Lake Geneva, but as offspring of Lake Bourget populations are hatched and reared in Thonon, escapes should be expected. (Ref. 59043).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Lacustrine. Found in deeper parts of the lake. Spawns in shallow water, on gravel, near shore in December. (Ref. 59043).
