Environment:  reef-associated; marine
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Canada (Ref. 5951) to North Carolina (USA), Bermuda, and the Bahamas to Colombia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits shallow seagrass beds.
