Family:  Callionymidae (Dragonets)
Max. size:  2.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 4 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Currently known only from the Hawaiian Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in clean sand off beaches, burying just under the surface of the sand with the eyes exposed (Ref. 33412). Benthic (Ref. 58302).

Threat to humans:  harmless
