Max. size:  3.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Delagoa Bay, Mozambique. Western Central Pacific (Ref. 42915).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 9-9. Yellowish brown with irregular faint dark mottling (Ref. 2798).
Biology:  Found in tide pools (Ref. 2798).
