Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: only known from the Lucoge River (Chicapa River tributary, Kasai drainage) in Angola (Ref. 11970).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 7-8
Biology:  Maximum TL was recorded at 2.4 cm (Ref. 7094).
