Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 7; dH range: 5 - 12
Distribution:  Africa: around Monrovia, Liberia over southern Côte d'Ivoire to southwestern Ghana.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swampy areas along the coast, quiet parts of brooks and slow flowing river in the coastal lowlands (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium (Ref. 27139).
