Max. size:  5.5 cm TL (male/unsexed); max. reported age: 3 years
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: found only in Bayou Pierre system in southwestern Mississippi, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits fast, rocky riffles of creeks and small to medium rivers. Generally feeds on aquatic insects as adults and on micro-crustaceans as juveniles (Ref. 26981).
