Max. size: 
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 3 - 9 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: known only off Alpha Island, Monte Bello Islands, Western Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found clinging to attached Sargassum sp. On a sheltered coral reef. Probably not exceeding about 5 cm TL. Males may be mature at 3.35 cm TL. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). Males with brood pouch; females with ovipositor (Ref. 205).
