Max. size:  14 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 45 - 60 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: along the coasts of Australia and Papua New Guinea, from about 124° to 144°E. Record from Java and Sumatra is more likely referable to other related species.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-12; Dorsal soft rays (total): 29-34; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 7-7
Biology:  Inhabits coastal waters (Ref. 9772). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
