Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Thailand and Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 25-29; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 7-7. A small species with a moderately deep body. Light brown dorsally, creamy white ventrally (Ref. 9772).
Biology:  Inhabits shallow coastal waters (Ref. 9772).
