Max. size:  2.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 4 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Blunt knobs on 2nd gill arch; upper attachment of gill membrane opposite 12th - 15th P ray. Disc length 5.1 - 5.3 in SL.
Biology:  Occurs in tide pools of benches and outer reef flats (Ref. 1602).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 13 March 2015 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
