Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: known from the type locality (Gribingui River, Central African Republic). The generic identity of this species is tentative, pending the availability of specimens for anatomical analyses. Has been reported from the Chad and Niger basins (Ref. 7394).
