Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-9; Anal soft rays: 12-13; Vertebrae: 28-29. Description: Caudal fin oval, longer than deep; longitudinal series of scales 27-28; transverse series of scales 8 (Ref. 101434).
Biology:  Occurs in coastal plains (Ref. 101434).
