Max. size:  2.81 cm SL (male/unsexed); 2.52 cm SL (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 0 - 1 m
Distribution:  South America: Peixe River drainage of the Araguaia River basin in Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Collected in shallow pools and creeks adjacent to a stream which is about 10-20 cm deep; with orange clay bottom, in open vegetation of the Brazilian Cerrado and water was clear, pH 6.2 (Ref. 59346).
