Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits very small stream with gravel, stones and sandy bottom. Found associated with marginal vegetation and other species (Astyanax bimaculatus, A. rivularis, Cetopsorhamdia iheringi, Harttia sp., Imparfinis sp., Parotocinclus prata, Trichomycterus sp., and Trichomycterus sp. ) (Ref. 115560).
