Max. size:  3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.5 - 7.19999980926514, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: upper and middle Nyong, upper Dja and upper Sangha drainage systems (Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea); probably also in northern Gabon (Ref. 47311).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in rainforest brooks and swamps on the inland plains (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
