Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: occurs only in Suwannee River drainage in Florida and Ochlockonee River drainage in Florida and Georgia in the USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky riffles, runs and pools, and large springs and spring runs.
IUCN Red List Status: Near Threatened (NT); Date assessed: 30 April 2012 Ref. (130435)
