Distribution:  South America: Approuague River basin, French Guiana.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swamps and stagnant waters of forest creeks where it finds shelter in very shallow zones along the banks with little sunlight. Females are almost two times smaller than males (Ref. 35237).
