Family:  Nemacheilidae (Brook loaches)
Max. size:  4.1 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: known only from the type locality in the Tapi River basin, Thailand.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Color pattern consisting of a yellowish background with a black longitudinal stripe along lateral line, an irregular black stripe along dorsal midline and 9-16 black, vertically elongated blotches across lateral stripe.
Biology:  Feeds on insect larvae (Ref. 39226).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 06 July 2011 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
