Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 7 - 8.5; dH range: 10 - 15; depth range 6 - 30 m
Distribution:  Africa: Endemic to the south of Lake Tanganyika.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in the crevices of the sediment-rich rocky biotope (Ref. 7343).
