Family:  Macrouridae (Grenadiers or rattails)
Max. size:  25.2 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 860 - 915 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:  Terminal snout scutes small; suborbital ridge developed; underside of snout, gular part, and branchiostegal membrane naked; spinules on body scale flattened, relatively broad (Ref. 13608). Band of small pointed teeth in both jaws. Head fully scaled except for gular and branchiostegal membranes (Ref. 37108).
