Environment:  reef-associated; marine
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: Australia and Lord Howe, Norfolk and the Kermadec Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits seaward reefs, at the bases of coral heads or on hard bottom (Ref. 9710).
