Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudochrominae
Max. size:  5.9 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 15 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Collected from around coral rubble, patch reefs, rocks and coral heads in tidal pools and shallow lagoon areas to depths of are least 5 m (Ref. 81967).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 10 March 2015 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
