Max. size:  9.7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater, potamodromous
Distribution:  Asia: probably endemic to the southern Andaman Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in rivers and streams. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205).
