Max. size:  47 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Aldabra to Inhaca, Mozambique. Once reported from Knysna, but the specimen cannot be found (Ref. 3972).
Diagnosis:  Olive green-olive dorsally, paler below (Ref. 3972).
Biology:
