Max. size:  4.4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 1 - 169 m
Distribution:  Pacific Ocean: Marshall Islands and Hawaiian Islands.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 9-9. SL to about 40 mm.
Biology:  Lives in shallow protected waters (Ref. 1602). Benthic on silty sand or mud (Ref. 58302).
