Distribution:  Africa: Luongo River and Kalungwishi River, tributaries of Luapula River/Lake Mweru, Congo River basin in Zambia (Ref. 26626, 122085).
Diagnosis:  Description: slender-bodied; snout pointed; frontal profile straight to slightly rounded (Ref. 52307). Coloration: snout, front of head, opercles and upper half of body gray, lower body parts and caudal peduncle more silvery to whitish; black longitudinal, sometimes broken, stripe runs along mid-body; additionally, several dusky horizontal bars may sometimes be visible on body; soft dorsal fin with some reddish maculae; caudal fin yellowish with 3-4 vertical rows of dark maculae; anal fin yellowish, lacking egg spots (Ref. 52307).
Biology:  Rheophilic (Ref. 52307).
