Max. size:  8.9 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Buyuk Menderes river and Isikli Lake in Turkey; may be found also in Kucuk Menders and Gediz rivers in Western Anatolia, Turkey.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal soft rays: 7-8. Can be distinguished from all angorae group species of Oxynoemacheilus in Turkey by its shape of bony capsule of swim bladder, color pattern and some body ratios (Ref. 93108).
Biology:
