Max. size:  20 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 30 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Atlantic: Senegal to Angola.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Neritic species (Ref. 7356). Inhabits inshore water, frequenting rocky coast and beaches to depths of 20 m (Ref. 9675).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 14 May 2013 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
