Distribution:  Northeast Pacific: Bering Sea to Baja California, Mexico.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 69; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 61-61. Pectoral fin distinctly notched (Ref. 26773). Skin, oral and branchial cavities black; pyloric caeca pale (Ref. 26773).
Biology:  Inhabits the continental slope (Ref. 26773).
